Winter is a great time to learn more about your lawn and gardens. Lawns are dormant and don't need much care at all. Lawn should be  cleared of all debris and leaves. Keep traffic to a minimum. Frequent walking across a frozen lawn can wear out the grass. This is a good time to maintain your lawn equipment (sharpen mower blades, change oil and spark plugs).
